1. The service
Attention Age ("the app") is an entertainment and self-practice app. It provides a short timed set of attention challenges that produces a 0–100 in-app performance score called the Attention Index, optional practice drills, weekly re-tests, a daily challenge, and focus-session tools. The website offers free browser challenges on the same terms.
2. Not a medical product
The Attention Index is a game-based performance score derived from your speed, accuracy, and consistency on the app's tasks. It is not a medical or clinical measurement, not a diagnosis or screening tool, not an IQ score, not an age, and it is not compared with any population. Scores reflect performance on these specific tasks, which typically improves with practice. The app provides no medical advice and no guaranteed outcome. If you are concerned about your attention or cognitive health, consult a qualified professional.
3. Subscriptions
- Optional auto-renewable subscriptions ("Attention Age Pro") unlock additional drills, daily circuits, longer focus sessions, extra soundscapes and customization: annual and monthly plans, with introductory pricing or a free trial where offered and eligible.
- Billing is handled entirely by Apple through your App Store account.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel any time in your device's Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions, or from the app's Settings.
- Free-trial and introductory-offer eligibility is determined by Apple; one introductory offer per subscription group per Apple Account.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's own policies at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- The initial test and result, weekly re-tests, the Daily Signal, three core drills, 10 and 25 minute focus sessions, your history and export remain free; cancelling never deletes or locks your data.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the app, and not to use it in situations where distraction could cause harm (for example, while driving).
5. Intellectual property
The app, including its design, drills, characters, sounds, and branding, is protected by copyright and other laws. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use it on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service and Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which applies unless expressly superseded here.
6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
